Directions to the Hyperbaric Center

The Duke Center for Hyperbaric Medicine and Environmental Physiology is located at the Duke Clinics Building (Duke Hospital South - 200 Trent Drive) on the beautiful Duke University West Campus in Durham, North Carolina.

Coming SOUTH to Durham on INTERSTATE 85 from Richmond, VA

  1. Take I-85 SOUTH to exit 174A Hillandale Road (exit I-85 to right).
  2. Turn left at traffic light onto Hillandale Road. Continue on Hillandale Road. As you cross under Durham Freeway (State Road 147) Hillandale Road changes into Fulton Street.
  3. Continue on Fulton Street which dead ends into Erwin Road at traffice light in front of Duke Hospital North (get in left turning lane).
  4. Turn left onto Erwin Road (get in right lane).
  5. Continue on Erwin Road 1 block to next traffic light, turn right onto Trent Drive.
  6. The Duke South Medical Center Parking Deck 1 is on your left.

Coming NORTH to Durham on INTERSTATE 85 from Greensboro, NC

  1. Take I-85 NORTH from Greensboro North Carolina to exit 174A Hillandale Road (exit I-85 to right).
  2. Turn right at traffic light onto Hillandale Road. Continue on Hillandale Road. As you cross under Durham Freeway (State Road 147) Hillandale Road changes into Fulton Street.
  3. Continue on Fulton Street which dead ends into Erwin Road at traffice light in front of Duke Hospital North (get in left turning lane).
  4. Turn left onto Erwin Road (get in right lane).
  5. Continue on Erwin Road1 block to next traffic light, turn right onto Trent Drive.
  6. The Duke South Medical Center Parking Deck 1 is on your left.

Coming WEST to Durham on INTERSTATE 40 from Raleigh, NC

  1. Take I-40 WEST from Raleigh North Carolina to Durham Expressway - State Road 147 West (exit I-40 to right).
  2. Continue on Durham Freeway - State Road 147 to the Trent Drive Exit (exit Durham Expressway to right).
  3. Continue on Trent Drive through 1 traffic light.
  4. The Duke South Medical Center Parking Deck 1 is on your left.

Coming EAST to Durham on INTERSTATE 40 from Winston Salem, NC

  1. Take I-40 EAST from Winston Salem North Carolina to Greensboro North Carolina (I-40 EAST merges with I-85 NORTH at Greensboro).
  2. Continue on I-40 EAST & I-85 NORTH to Hillsborough North Carolina (get into left 2 lanes).
  3. Take I-85 NORTH to exit 174A Hillandale Road (exit I-85 to right).
  4. Turn right at traffic light onto Hillandale Road. Continue on Hillandale Road. As you cross under Durham Freeway (N.C. State Road 147) Hillandale Road changes into Fulton Street.
  5. Continue on Fulton Street which dead ends into Erwin Road at traffice light in front of Duke Hospital North (get in left turning lane).
  6. Turn left onto Erwin Road (get in right lane).
  7. Continue on Erwin Road1 block to next traffic light, turn right onto Trent Drive.
  8. The Duke Medical Center Parking Deck 1 is on your left.

Coming WEST to Durham on U.S. 70 from Raleigh, NC

  1. Take US-70 WEST from Raleigh. US-70 will merge with I-85 SOUTH as you come into Durham.
  2. Take I-85 SOUTH to exit 174A Hillandale Road (exit I-85 to right).
  3. Turn left at traffic light onto Hillandale Road. Continue on Hillandale Road. As you cross under Durham Freeway (State Road 147) Hillandale Road changes into Fulton Street.
  4. Continue on Fulton Street which dead ends into Erwin Road at traffice light in front of Duke Hospital North (get in left turning lane).
  5. Turn left onto Erwin Road (get in right lane).
  6. Continue on Erwin Road1 block to next traffic light, turn right onto Trent Drive.
  7. The Duke South Medical Center Parking Deck 1 is on your left.

Walk from Parking Deck 1 to main entrance of the Duke Clinics Building. Ask at the information desk for directions to the Hyperbaric Center - Room 0584 - Building CRII - Ground Level - White Zone, or call 684-6727 (Hyperbaric Center) for assistance.
